DESCRIPTION
The
ATXS-5000P is a long-life industrial server class motherboard with
dual and quad core Xeon processor technology and PCI Express. Powered
by the Intel® Xeon Dual Core 5100, Quad Core E5300 and E5400, Duo Core and Duo Core LV series processors and
the Intel® 5000P Express chipset, the ATXS-5000P Industrial
Server Class Motherboard was designed specifically for ultra high performance
industrial applications such as Imaging,
Simulation Systems, Industrial Automation, and
Communications.
Powered by the Intel® 5000P chipset, the
ATXS-5000P utilizes next-generation dual processor
server chipset technology,
enabling low-power consumption with
improved platform reliability, accessibility,
serviceability (RAS) and system manageability.
The ATXS-5000P delivers higher
throughput with dual, point-to-point
system buses, faster memory and I/O
bandwidth, and Fully Buffered DIMM
(FB-DIMM) support than previous generation
Intel® chipsets. The ATXS-5000P provides eight memory sockets supporting up to 128GB of RAM.
The ATXS-5000P combines the benefits of
dual- and quad-core processing with
dual-processor capabilities (up to four or
eight cores for a dual-processor platform). Ideal for embedded OEM's requiring
high-performance, power-efficient
platforms with greater data throughput to
perform diverse tasks simultaneously.
The ATXS-5000P features three PCI Express x8 channels in x16 connectors. An additional PCI Express x4 slot is capable of transferring
2 GB/s, up to 3.5 times faster than standard PCI architecture. Five PCI slots, including four full bus master slots assures compatibility with legacy I/O cards.
The ATXS-5000P
Industrial Motherboard supports six (6) Serial ATA connectors (300MB/s)
for high-speed hard disk drives and supports RAID 0/1/5, eight (8) USB 2.0 ports,
two (2) 10/100/1000 Ethernet
ports, Realtek ACL888 High Definition Audio, and onboard
XGI Volari Z9S graphics with 65MB DDR2 video memory.
Standard features include one PCI-X and two (2)
32-bit PCI slots for legacy devices, four RS232 serial ports (one factory configurable for RS422), one (1) parallel port, one (1) PS/2
mouse/keyboard connector, one (1) floppy controller and a TPM LPC bus header.
