CD Software Updates
- The latest version of our upgrade program is working.
Users with Chassis Plans' CDs prior to version 6.0 should
download and run the latest
version to ensure all installed Chassis Plans' software
is up-to-date.
Driver Downloads
- These are only driver packages; they do not include
any of the card-specific samples and utilities provided
with our cards. For those, first install the package from
the CD that came with the card.
Our latest 98 / ME / NT2K / NTXP PCI drivers can be downloaded
here. This covers
all PCI cards in Windows 98, ME, NT2K, and NTXP. You
will also need ACCES32 (on the right) unless you have
a serial (COM) card. This package is current as of
CD 5.8x.
To install:
- Unzip the package.
- Copy the .DLL file to your system directory, usually
"C:\Windows\System" in 98 / ME or "C:\WinNT\System32"
in NT2K / NTXP. (For a COM card, this isn't needed
but won't hurt.)
- Uninstall the card from Device Manager if it's already
installed. To get to Device Manager in 98 / ME, right-click
on My Computer, choose Properties, then choose the
Device Manager tab. To get to Device Manager in NT2K
/ NTXP, right-click on My Computer, choose Properties,
choose the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager.
The card will be in the Data Acquisition category.
- Click Refresh in Device Manager to re-detect the
card. Choose Search For The Best Driver, then check
only Specific Location, and enter the location you
unzipped the package to.
-
Our ACCES32 driver can be downloaded here.
This package is current as of CD 5.8x.
To install:
- Unzip the package.
- Copy the .DLL file to your system directory, usually
"C:\Windows\System" in 9x / ME or "C:\WinNT\System32"
in NT4 / NT2K / NTXP.
- Under Windows NT4 / NT2K / NTXP, copy the .SYS file
to your drivers directory, usually "C:\WinNT\System32\Drivers".
- Copy the appropriate files into your project, depending
on the programming language. Headers are ACCES32.pas
for Object Pascal (Delphi or Kylix), ACCES32.h for
C (C++ Builder, Visual C++, etc), and ACCES32.bas
for VisualBASIC. C languages also need a .LIB; most
allow you to build one from the .DLL, and this package
includes prebuilt .LIBs for C++ Builder (CBACCES.lib)
and Visual C++ (VCACCES.lib).
-
