Chassis Plans Announces Completion of Telephonics ARSS Contract Phase 1 of Homeland Security ARSS system completes San Diego, CA - April 11, 2005 - Chassis Plans, The Original Industrial Computer Source, today announced the successful completion of Phase 1 of a Homeland Defense contract with Telephonics. This $1M contract provided for Chassis Plans to supply integrated 3U rack mount industrial computers to Telephonics as control systems for an Air Force Perimeter Security System. Telephonics ARSS Advanced Radar Surveillance System brings online, real-time field reconnaissance to a new level of access and preparedness. The ARSS provides enhanced perimeter protection for sensitive Homeland Security applications. Air Force bases are natural targets for terrorism and the ARSS adds an additional impenetrable layer to their defense.
