Chassis Plans Unveils 8U 20" 1600x1200 LCD

Ultra High Resolution UXGA Panel Mount LCD

San Diego, Calif. - September 1, 2005 - Chassis Plans, The Original Industrial Computer Source™, today released the CPPM-8U201 Series, high-performance 1600x1200 pixel resolution, UXGA, panel mount LCD display. The CPPM-8U201 is optionally available with capacitive or resistive touch screens.

Designed to satisfy a wide range of industrial, commercial, broadcast and military requirements, the CPPM-8U201 display offers 250nit brightness, 500:1 contrast, and an 89 degree viewing angle for exceptional viewing ability. An anti-glare hard coating minimizes reflections making images that much clearer. The aspect ratio is 4:3 with a Pixel Pitch of only 0.255mm. It will display 16.7 million colors (True Color).

Key features of the CPPM-8U201 include:
  • 20.1" diagonal active matrix UXGA TFT LCD, large viewing area display
  • 1600 X 1200 @ 60 Hz native resolution display
  • Video Input Connections: aRGB, DVI-D, NTSC, Pal S-Video and Composite Video

  • Picture-in-picture with OSD control of the source
  • Audio input and output with built in amplifier
  • Power management; EPS Energy Star, VESA DPMS
  • MTBF: 30,000 - 50,000 hours

The CPPM-8U201 is available in a standard black finish. However, as with all Chassis Plans' product offerings, a wide variety of custom options are also available such as color, customer logo, transmissive daylight modification, touch screens and hard-coated vandal shields.
