The CP7401 PCI serial interface provides four RS-232 serial ports capable of data rates to 460.8K bps. Each RS-232 port implements all modem control signals for maximum compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. The CP7401 utilizes a 16C554 UART that provides 16-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs. The board ships with a 36" cable that terminates to four DB-25M connectors. Ordering options allow the choice of UARTs with larger FIFOs, support for custom baud rates, and 9-bit protocols.

We include our Advanced COM drivers for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP providing IRQ sharing, Windows serial diagnostics, and other enhanced features. Our Linux and QNX utilities are also included to simplify installation.
